Okay I’ve been out of school just long enough begin paying my student loans, but I really miss the projects and assignments that used to be issued on a daily basis. So I’m going to be giving my self little projects and research topics based on things I want to explore more of.
Assignment Number One Termination
This morning while driving to work I couldn’t help but notice that the winter appears to becoming to a close. Originally I thought it would be fun to have this assignment be about spring and what that means, but now I think that might be a little premature. So instead I’d like to focus on what appears to be happening climate wise—that being we are neither in winter nor spring but rather we are nearing the termination of the season. This assignment is to explore; verbally, visually, literally, and contextually the ways terminations reveal themselves.
I’ll post more data and information as I gather it here.

So I have a theory about our “winter” and it relates to society. We’re always wanting everything right now or wishing we had it back then. nothing will ever be good enough, fast enough or the right size or color. We can’t even have halloween without being bombarded by christmas. People stop giving receipts because that takes too long and your food was ready before you even thought about what you wanted.
Back in July and August, it was pretty hot. people we’re wishing for colder temperatures and colder temperatures is what we received. Then, just as it was about to snow as it should, people were sick of the cold and wanted it to warm up. causing some serious stress and confusion to Mother Nature.
It’s our own fault. I just feel bad for the weather man who always takes the blame for “bad weather.” it’s not their fault, they’re just trying to predict the outcome of what we’re never satisfied with. Sure it’s “nice” when the sun shines and I get to ride my bike on a warm Feb. day, but that’s no reason to call this weather nice. In reality it should be cold and snowing like crazy. We need that stuff for more than just winter activities. Our HOT summer depends on it.
I have nothing further to say. I’m going to ride my bike on a sunny Feb. afternoon.
